Ticket prices in Bana Hills are quite standard and vary depending on the age-based distinction between an adult and a child. Herein is an overview of the main categories regarding tickets:

The Bana Hills cable car system is quite special and actually holds multiple Guinness World Records. When it first opened way back in 2013 it was officially the longest non-stop single-track cable car in the world, measuring 5,801 metres. Today the system has grown and runs across five different routes which connect the base station near Da Nang to the summit area where you will find the Golden Bridge and the other attractions.

The five cable car routes that you can take are:

• Debay-Morin

• Bordeaux to Louvre

Together these routes can move up to 6,000 visitors per hour. A one-way ride takes you somewhere between 17 to 25 minutes depending on which route you happen to be on, and you will go from sea level all the way up to over 1,400 metres altitude in that time. Golden Bridge at Ba Na Hills: Photos, Tips & Best Time

The Golden Bridge (Cầu Vàng) is by far the most photographed spot at Bana Hills and probably the reason most people end up visiting in the first place. It first opened to visitors in 2018 and is about 150 metres long, designed to look like it is being held up by two giant stone hands that appear to come right out of the mountain. The bridge itself sits at around 1,400 metres altitude and goes across a forested gorge giving you panoramic views over the surrounding hills.

A common question we get asked is whether the Golden Bridge is included in the main ticket or not. The answer is yes, it is fully included in your standard cable car ticket and there is no extra cost. Once you get off at the upper cable car station, the bridge is just about a 5-minute walk through the French Village area. You are also allowed to walk across the bridge as many times as you want during your visit, so feel free to come back later if you missed a photo angle.

The best time to visit the Golden Bridge in our experience is:

• Early morning between 8 to 10 AM when there are fewer crowds and the light is soft which is good for photos.
• Late afternoon between 3:30 to 5 PM when the light turns golden on the stone hands, although it is slightly busier than the morning.
• Try to avoid the midday hours from 11 AM to 2 PM as this is when the crowds peak and the overhead light is harsh for photography.

Plan to spend about 15 to 30 minutes at the bridge to walk the full length and take photos at both ends. The walkway itself is fairly narrow so movement can slow down during the busy hours. Also keep in mind that the bridge is at high altitude, so the temperature can be around 5 to 10 degrees cooler than what you experience down in Da Nang, so a light jacket is a good idea if you are visiting between November and February.

You will need to bring your ID along to the ticket counter at the base station and the staff will verify that it actually belongs to you.

On weekends and during public holidays, and especially during Tet (lunar new year), Ba Na Hills can actually sell out by mid-morning. We would suggest booking 2 to 3 days in advance to be safe on these dates. On the other hand, on regular weekdays outside of peak season you can usually just buy at the gate without much of a wait.

One thing to avoid: scalpers and any unofficial resellers offering Ba Na Hills tickets at heavy discounts.
