Tour Details
On the morning of departure, your guide will pick you up from your accommodation and transfer you to the Jungle Boss headquarters. Here, you will receive your necessary equipment, listen to the itinerary briefing, and sign the Release Form before departing. A vehicle will then transport you to the trekking starting point at Km 17 on Road 20 Quyet Thang.
You will begin trekking through the jungle to reach Hung Cave. This cave boasts stunning stalactite and stalagmite formations, especially the perfectly round cave pearls lying on a bed of sparkling calcite crystals.
After exploring Hung Cave, you will continue trekking through the pristine forest to Nuoc Lan Lake, which will also be your campsite for the first night. From here, the group will venture deeper to explore Tron Cave, then return to the lake to bathe, relax, and enjoy a delicious dinner by the tranquil waters of Nuoc Lan Lake.
You will enjoy breakfast and then trek along the Hung Thoong stream to reach the Thung Cave sinkhole. Surrounded by majestic cliffs, you will experience a thrilling 25-meter abseil into the Thung Cave sinkhole – an exciting experience amidst the magnificent and poetic natural scenery.
Upon reaching the bottom of Thung Cave, you will rest and enjoy lunch before continuing the adventure with the challenge of traversing the narrow Lung Chung passage using safety ropes. This passage is only about 1 meter wide and leads to Lo Lung Lake. This is a beautiful calcite lake with crystal-clear turquoise water year-round, perfect for swimming, relaxing, and taking photos.
Next, you will continue exploring the vast Thung Cave, abseil down 20 meters, and swim to reach the cave exit. Relax by the refreshing natural spring, Nuoc Mooc Hung Thoong, located right at the cave mouth.
You will continue trekking for another 30 minutes to return to the campsite. Here, you will have time to bathe, enjoy dinner, and rest, preparing for the next day's journey.
On the final morning, the group will have breakfast by the shores of Nuoc Lan Lake and then trek through the forest to Ma Da Lake. Here, you can enjoy swimming in the natural emerald-green lake, relax, and admire the surrounding majestic natural landscape. Lunch will also be prepared at the campsite by the lake, featuring grilled dishes and Phong Nha special "moi cheo" dipping sauce.
After lunch, you will trek through the forest to return to the main road. Here, you will enjoy cold drinks that have been prepared in advance, and then board a vehicle to return to the Jungle Boss headquarters, concluding the journey.

Phong Nha Ke Bang has 4 seasons with Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter, it also experiences a monsoon tropical climate, with two distinct seasons: the rainy season and the dry season. The rainy season spans from September to March, while the dry season stretches from April to August. During the rainy season, temperatures can drop as low as 17°C, with January being the coldest month. In contrast, the dry season can bring higher temperatures, with May usually recording the highest temperatures, but most of it is reduced when visitors are in the jungle and the caves exploring, as it might drop to the temperature around 23°C.
When you visit Phong Nha in each season, you'll always witness a unique beauty. If you choose to visit during the rainy season, the waterfalls in the jungle and the calcite lakes inside the caves will be exceptionally beautiful and full, allowing you to capture memorable photos. On the other hand, if you opt for the dry season, your trekking routes in the jungle will be drier and more manageable.
Throughout the year, we are at our most beautiful status from April to May when the weather is dry, cool, and the scenery is at its finest.
